PARKS, TRAILS AND RECREATION
The Town of Larkspur is known for its small-town charm, family-friendly community events and the beautiful Larkspur Community Park. In 2017 the Douglas County Trail system will expand through Larkspur. Plans are underway and construction should begin in 2017.
The Larkspur Community Park provides 3 park shelters available for rent throughout the year. The park also has a ball field that can house teams for Adult CO-ED, Girls Softball and Boys Baseball. The Ball field is available for reservations for team practices or small leagues. Throughout the year many teams play on the ball field because it is well maintained.
The Larkspur Community Park also include horse shoe pits, a volleyball court and a basket ball court. In addition, the Town has a Fire Ring pit that is available for rent and must have a permit issued by the Town for it’s use. Adult Pickle Ball is active and well in Larkspur. Beginners clinics are given throughout the Spring and Summer. All equipment is provided for beginner clinics. Come enjoy the game of pickle ball in the Larkspur Community Park.
